When you use the free quote check, we collect only what's needed to give you a price-range comparison:
We do not ask for your name, full address, email address, or any document upload as part of the free check.
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. When you check out, Stripe collects your card details and typically an email address (to send you a payment receipt) directly — QuoteCheck never sees or stores your full card number. We only receive confirmation from Stripe that payment was successful, which we use to unlock your report.
Your job answers and quoted price are temporarily stored on our server, linked to your Stripe checkout session, so we can generate your report once payment is confirmed. We retain this data for [7 days"] to handle support queries or refund requests, after which it is deleted.
QuoteCheck uses a single strictly-necessary session cookie to keep track of your answers while you complete a check. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
